Am I weird?

Finally! I have done it Sexymom.

I was born on the weird month. It is a weird month because even if one day is added every fourth year, it is still short of 1 or two days for the regular month that has 30 and 31 days.

I like both the intelligent and stupid people. Intelligent people because they give me knowledge and or wisdom; stupid people because they keep me alert and prepared for any eventuality and thus provide me some excitement. Stupid people I believe always do things without reason, any time, anywhere. They have no predictable pattern of action or behaviour and it is hard to anticipate their next move or the words that they will say. Such actions or words could be beneficial or detremental to you or to him or to both of you.

I do not like repetitions. Being so, I generally do not like history because it repeats itself. Joke.

I want to start a revolution but I hate violence. I do not want to be a hero because they die early and they are overrated (according to my son. he he he). Fortunately or unfortunately, I am a hero. I am the Modern Day Hero according to the pronouncements of Gloria, our government officials, politicians and people who are in services, financial, banking, real estate and etc..(!) There is no question about what my family thinks of me because I am more than a hero, I am a super hero to them. Ha ha ha.

I do not consider myself as a blogger. Although I have blogs that I write my silly opinions and whatever I think I need to write and post pictures, in my terms, it is not called blogging. It is just a murmuring of an individual who has spare time to write something. Unless, I can inspire people to do something or move people to do an action that will benefit humanity and the mother earth, then my postings in my blogs are just but plain and simple selfish expression of my egoistic self. However, on several occasions, I called myself a blogger. I could change my mind. Ha ha ha.

I broke almost 50 or 60 percent of my bones when I was a kid in elementary and in high school. I am fortunate, my skull was not part of it but sometimes I wonder, it might be possible. I just do not remember. Ha ha.

I believed I died for three days and rose again on the fourth day. I remember, in one of those days that I was in the hospital, unconcious, I saw me lying in bed while the other me (my spirit, my soul or whatever) floated in the air. Some say it is some kind of astral travel or out of this world expreiences however I prefer to call it as out of my body experience or duplicating me. My parents were very happy. I returned. Ha Ha Ha.

I can remember many things but have problem remembering names.

I do not wear jewelry or a wristwatch. I can live without a timepeice in my wrist. What is time anyway? It is a measure of things that you do today, things that you accomplished or failed to do yesterday, or things you will do tomorrrow. “Time will tell.”, “Time heals.” “Time is gold.” Time is not a wristwatch afterall. Yike. Honestly, I have five swiss watches but I never use them. They are placed somewhere in our house.. he he he.

When possible, I eat with my bare hands (a habit that was developed during those times I spent with the folks somewhere out there). I trust my hands totally when washed carefully and properly. Mr. Villavicencio of Kamayan Restaurant made money on this concept.

I am fascinated by the latest gadgetry, cell phones and computers and etc.. I know their specifications and what they can do and what they can not do but I do not buy them. My cell phone is Nokia 6610 and sometimes I still use my Alcatel cell phone (2003 model) to record something. Maybe I will buy one when the open source mobile phone or pda is available in the market sometime this june or july but it depends on many things.

If I have an idea, it incessantly runs in my head. Most often that not, it takes away my sleeping hours. Sometimes, I can go on for days about things which I eventually realize are nothing.

I am still a kid. I always ask why. Why can’t we make things easier? Why can’t the people in the government serve our people properly, honestly, religiously, etc..? Why there are poor and rich people? Why some if not all human beings are selfish? Why can’t I solve the problems of my country? Why do people have to work, day in and day out? Why do we need to breath in and breath out for the rest of our lives? Why? Why? Why?

Why am I writing this? Am I really weird?

If you find many conflicting ideas here, please do not ask me. Just let me know. I might give you a hundred US dollars, if you find me swimming in one of those beautiful beaches of Mindoro, Palawan, Bohol, Cebu or Pagudpud with 10 or more beautiful women. (Chances are you’ll find me with two only. Do not stretch your imagination, they are my wife and my daughter. Ha ha ha.)

thanks for being game–in responding to the tag.

an entertaining piece full of wit and a bit of sarcasm (?). weird, indeed, the meme asked for 6 (in my case i gave 7), but you gave something like 14?

there are at least 3 similarities though, being born on a weird month, wearing no watch (but i don’t own any) and jewelry, and being a superMom to my kids.

but you know, there can be people who are both intelligent and do stupid things at the same time. but for this, i won’t classify them as stupid, rather “smart” because they can do away with their stupid acts. i for one sometimes do things without reason, any time, anywhere, can have no predictable pattern of action or behavior, and it would be hard to anticipate my next move or the words i will say (lol).

and hey, as to spirit separating from the body–i believe in that, i was with my brother when he experienced that. gosh! how i prayed for him while he was unconscious.

me: Actually we have four similarities. Intelligent people can be stupid at times and I agree that they can be called “smart”. However, there are intelligent people who do a stupid act (on purpose) in order to achieve a specific goal. Being a supermom to 14, you are way above everyone. thank you very much.

This blog entry is so weird that I find it hard to write a decent comment, LOL. Joke.

Seriously, you ARE a blogger. Bloggers, especially those who maintain personal blogs, don’t necessarily have to be development communication specialists (those who wish to spur change with their advocacy writings). They can write things ranging from the mundance to the globally relevant.

Belated Happy Father’s Day, Rolly. Glad to know you’re considered a “super hero” by your family.🙂

Jayred: Coming from you, i just have to agree. So, it wasn’t just that I could change my mind ha. I am a blogger of sort. ha ha ha.

Belated Happy Father’s Day to your father too.

And I don’t enjoy it when smart people get stupid on me, especially during a critical period at work.

Hey, astral travel … I believe it happens!

Such is also my weirdness, if I have an idea—like a really, really good idea—I can’t stand still until I do it or at least try doing it.

Eating with your bare hands – you must have shared many a meal with local folks where you are🙂 Dipping kubuz in hummus and ripping mutton from leg of lambs – all with your bare hands🙂 But I do agree with you – food seems to taste much better when eaten with bare hand(s).. But as they say, use your right hand to eat and your left to do everything else hehe🙂

Enjoyed these small and big, trivial and surprising things about you, Rolly. You’re almost royally weird .. and i mean that in the most complimentary ways.
