Sorbetes day: not yet and not quite

Early in the morning today, I was again awakened by a beep coming from my mobile phone. The message flashed on the screen: “Sorbetes today at 2pm, Sunday, June 1, 2008”.

Sorbetes day is part of my (supposed) scheduled activities had my one month vacation to Philippines pushed through last May 21. due to events beyond my control, I am here still working and, the postponed vacation is still hanging on the air.

To mark this Sorbetes day and to remind me in years to come or when I am almost 69 years old (if wordpress and blogs or me still exist by then), I’ll just have the photo of the sorbetes here.

Sorbetes for myepinoy

Lessons:

Masarap ang sorbetes kung tunay at di picture, di ba?

Life goes on and on and on with or without vacation or ice cream. LOL

your picture has elevated the sorbetes i know (dirty ice cream) to one of class and elegance.

true, sorbetes must have been masarap if it were for real. there really are lots of things beyond one’s control, and may not happen if not meant to be at the moment.

i am sure your sorbetes day will happen, in time.

    Dessert na naging desert pa.

    Ay corny.

Anyway, know that I commiserate and feel your frustration. And know that I know that Pinoy sorbetes (i am sure naman there’s Saudi sorbetes kahit paano) will be enjoyed soon. Ay, mas exciting pa nga — the suspense is sweetening the pot.
