Are Pinoys on ‘roids’?

So we thought they heard us. That ON March 13, 2010, we will see a mega-fight between the great Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao and the trash talking American Floyd Mayweather jr. Now we only have a dash or a shadow of something that is in comatose inside an ICU. It landed there with a bang.

Yesterday’s News reports said that “the camps of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have until today to come to an agreement” to resuscitate the fight or else, this will go as RIP. If so, I would wonder forever whether money really talks.

For now, let us assume that it is what it is, DEAD! Don’t you find this ironic knowing that the killing of this fight started (long before this was set) when a convicted drug dealer named Mayweather sr. accused Manny Pacquiao of using a “roids,” which, according to him was his “opinion”.

Being just an opinion coming from a no expert father, Mayweather, jr. needed something to put some sort of validity to his father’s stupid claim while at the same time planting the seed of doubt on the accomplishments of Manny Pacquaio. And so, now, the demand. A ludicrous demand that we all know Pacquiao refused.

Rather than substantiating their accusations, they are now requiring the accused Pacquiao to prove himself clean of the “roids.” Is there something more moronic than that?

Meanwhile, the crazy demand made a spin, then went ballistic, out in the open and beyond the hands of “the dumb and stupid” accuser. Pacquaio’s outright refusal was the trigger that released the poison-filled bullet all over the world; it got a life of it’s own. A bad left honky wonky hook hit Pacquaio hard. It is now known as “prove it if you are not hiding anything.”

Thanks to the moronic so-called media practitioners. Just few days ago, they praised Pacquiao to high heavens. Then all of a sudden, they turned their guns on Pacquiao. The baseless accusations was taken “it is what it is,” at face value without asking the convicted drug dealer named Mayweather, senior to show proof. Damn fairness and objectivity! These guys all passed out.

Why so?

If a no expert and convicted drug dealer can, so I can. If hypocrites like Schaefer and a big quitter and loser like the not-so Golden boy dela Hoya can, so I can. Why not, coconut? Because everyone can!

By the same way that accusations were made, it is easy for me to say now that these moronic media practitioners are all juiced up and were actually paid to hack, to whack and to quack with one aim, destroy the reputation of Manny Pacquiao, at all cost! Oh please, don’t ask me to substantiate my accusations. The burden of proof does not rest on me. This is my kind of “roids” opinion. Right?

While many say that this is a ploy by Mayweather to get to Pacquiao’s head and gain some sort of psychological advantage, there is no denying that the hypocrisy of Golden Boy promotions’ top honchos is also at play here.

When Zab Judah required Mosley to undergo the same blood test that they are now forcing on Pacquaio, the GBP guys (the dumb Shaefer and the quitter now no longer golden boy de la Hoya) refused. They said that the Nevada Sports Commission’s tests were good enough for Mosley. Unfortunately, for Pacquiao the commission’s tests are not good enough, they needed more. wtf!

This fight may or may not happen. As both camps maybe playing some tricks or all of them are on “roids,” there is one thing that is very clear. Pacquiao got a big dark cloud over his reputation and the boxing profession as well.

On with more roids”

In the Philippines, Pacquiao is considered as a national treasure, pambasang kamao, and a hero who lifts up the Pinoy spirit and national pride. In return, he is well respected and idolized. When he fights, everyone stops to watch and support him.

Aside from that, his achievements were properly properly recognized by the the government of Gloria. Two of the highest honors were conferred to him; the Order of Lakandula and Order of Sikatuna with rank of a Datu.

Having mentioned few of what Pacquiao means to Filipinos everywhere, I have few crazy questions running in my mind right now.

Here is a great Pinoy whose integrity and honor is being maligned, destroyed and being called as cheater:

How come fellow Pinoy citizens, netizens, bloggers and what have you are not burning the blogosphere or the net when in truth, it is not only Pacquiao’s name that is being maligned but also the whole Filipino community? Have we lost that passion to defend our so-called national pride in the same manner that we directed collective anger to that columnist cheap Tzip of H.K., the producers and actress of one U.S. TV show, and those others who have insulted us being a Pinoy?

How come the government and the politicians of our land are so quiet as well? For Gloria, the so-called President of the Philippines who conferred two of the highest honors to Pacquiao, why are you not doing anything to protect or at least help a Datu whose honor is at stake? You’re so proud of him. You even asked Pinoys to emulate him because he is our national treasure and pride!

Are we really on something? Is it right for me to suspect that Pinoys are on “a roids” right now?

Or as my dear friend asked, are Pinoys forever on “roids” … so as not to care? wtf!!!

Tell me!

sssshhhh…he is not endorsing her, remember? and many Pinoys have a far bigger thing on their minds right now–how to celebrate New Year’s Day (many do not even have enough for the next meal).

the ordinary Pinoys–who seem to be on “droids” forever, are tired…literally and figuratively, are now numbed so as to care.

and the millions of ofws, heroes though you are as she has time and again called you all–many are bitten with the loneliness of being away from their loved ones on a very important occasion for family togetherness.

ah! she and her minions have deliberately made Pinoys in “droids” slowly albeit surely in the past 9 years or so, so as not to care at all, so as not to care anymore.

has she been successful in her desire to keep Pinoys in “droids” forever?

    tell me! tell me!

    wtf!!! rather…fuck her!!!

I’d like to see the outcome of the lawsuit the Pacman “reportedly” filed against the dysfunctional Mayweathers on their steroids accusation against Pacquiao. They should either shut up or fight – period
😦 Frankly, I think Mayweather is scared shit of the Pacman and this fight may never happen 😯

Anyways , hope you have a prosperous 2010 bro.. I hope to see a lot of you in the blogosphere next year 😆

Learned about this only today. I’m so out of the loop. Anyway, I gathered from CNN that Pacman will take legal action against his accuser. Hope he will be vindicated.

That’s why I have this nagging feeling that boxing is so much like politics, full of crappy personages such as Mayweather Sr. and like entertainment, full of clowns and pretenders like Mayweather Jr.

The Mayweather camp is so notorious for running away from strong enemies, that’s how they’re able to maintain that fantastic clean winning slate.

Now, they’re running away once again.
